SQUID Magnetometer
The Quantum Design SQUID Magnetometer has state-of-the-art capabilities with numerous applications in physics, chemistry, materials science and geology. The highly automated system can collect data over a temperature range of 1.8 to 400 K with applied magnetic fields up to 5 Tesla and a sample space of 9 mm, and an oven allows extending the temperature range to 800 K with a restricted sample diameter of 3 mm.

The magnetometer has a range up to 1.25 emu, with a differential sensitivity of 1 e-8 emu and an absolute sensitive of 1 e-7 emu.

Contact us for further information on instrument capabilities or scheduling, and before submitting grant proposals that involve the use of the magnetometer.
